Parents Workshop
In the modern world of special education, the most popular and scientific therapy is ABA therapy. Through this, work is done with children with special needs on a 1:1 basis. According to ABA therapy, a minimum of 40 hours per week should be worked with a child. In that case, based on the child’s age, needs, and level, parent workshops are provided to ensure consistency between the learning process at school and work at home.
Since these types of children have limitations and cannot absorb and remember many things at once, to teach a task, it must be broken down into many small parts to achieve proficiency. Therefore, maintaining consistency between schoolwork and homework is very important in this work. Because parents of children with special needs play the main role.
